  7. Follow the road and you will feel that you are coming back on yourself (you are actually going around the edge of Portmore Lough).
  8. Take the left turn (before the small bridge) which is signposted Portmore Equestrian Centre.
  9. You will be able to see the large Indoor Building as you approach it.

Via The Crumlin Road:

  1. Alternatively, you may choose to avoid the Lisburn traffic and go via the Crumlin Road.
  2. Take the Carlisle circus exit from the Westlink
  3. Follow the Crumlin Road straight up the Cavehill
  4. Keep on the road round the hairpin bend and all the way to Nutts Corner (10 miles) (A52)
  5. Take the A26 south at Nutts Corner roundabout (signposted Moira/Craigavon)
  6. After about 4 miles you will see a pedestrian bridge above the road.
  7. Take the right hand exit here into Glenavy
  8. You want to stay left after you enter the village and take the B12 out of village under the railway bridge in front of the station.
  9. Stay on the B12. You will reach a crossroads. Go straight across this and it will turn into the B156.
  10. Stay on the B156 and as you drive along the edge of Lough Neagh on your right you should see a sign for Portmore Equestrian Centre on the left.
  11. If at any time you get lost, ask for directions to Portmore RSPB bird sanctuary which is directly beside the Equestrian Centre.
